Hope you all had a wonderful holiday giving Thanks and celebrating the birth of baby Jesus. We had an amazing time visiting with our family and friends and enjoying cherished traditions with our Mommy and Daddy creating memories that they (and maybe us) will remember for the rest of their lives. We are so excited to update you with what has been going on in our lives taking you all the way back to...
Our Birthday

As we mentioned, several of our friends came to celebrate our 2nd birthday at OUR Elmo party!! We greeted our guest outside and later partied down playing pin the nose on Elmo, eating Elmo cupcakes and dancing the morning away to our favorite songs. Thanks to all our family and friends for making our 2nd birthday so special. We had an amazing time!!
Our First Hair Cut

Our first hair cut was really no big deal at all... Our Mommy got all worked up taking pictures of us "before" and then all emotional losing our baby curls, but in the end it only took about 8 minutes for both of us to become big girls once more. We were a little nervous at first, but once we got a lick of that lollipop we were good...no tears, no fussing, no crying, no problem!
Our Thanksgiving
We went to our Granny's for Thanksgiving and had a great time stuffing our bellies. We also got to visit with one of our favorite puppies, Coco Puppy. She is a mixed breed black and white girl puppy who we just adore. She has a brother who is a German shepherd named Gator, but we are not as fond of him for obvisous reasons (sorry Uncle Darren). We love to watch them play.
Our Traditions
We have many traditions we celebrate with our Mommy and Daddy as well as our family and friends especially around the holidays including playgroup parties. We hosted the Thanksgiving playgroup party this year and had lot of fun sharing all our toys and singing ring-around-the-rosy. We love our friends!

Another tradition we have is getting our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. We helped our Mommy pick out the biggest, fattest tree our Daddy would allow. We also had a visitor show up the day after Thanksgiving, Mooie. He is an elf that helps Santa throughout the year making toys for good girls and boys and then comes to our house for the holidays. He leaves every night to report to Santa how sweet we are and then comes back to watch over us during the day. We can't wait to see you next year Mooie.

Of course we also baked Christmas cookies for Santa and his reindeer. We had so much fun helping Mommy this year and we couldn't resist a little taste test of our own.

We have too many traditions to continue listing them, but our most important tradtion is reading the birth of baby Jesus on Christmas morning. We are learning more and more every day about Him.

Our Christmas
Christmas was so much fun! We had our grandparents over Christmas Eve for our traditional dinner and movie. We got to open lots of fun presents from our grandparents and give them lots of presents too. Then we went to bed and the next morning SANTA came!

He brought us lots of fun things, but the thing we liked most was our kitchen! We also love playing with our first doll house and our scetch board. What a great holiday; getting presents AND celebrating the birth of baby Jesus!! We also got to visit with our Great Grandparents and family shortly after the holidays. It is always fun getting to see them and showing them all the new things we can do....
Speaking of new things. We are getting so big! We are talking ALL the time and can actually be understood most of the time now. We mumble our own version of ABCs and 123s as well as sing our prayer at the table. We help Mommy all the time with chores around the house like loading the dish washer and making meals. We are not to good at putting away clothes after they've been washed because we mostly just like to put them all on and then take them off and then put them back on. We still love playing outside and we love wathcing Elmo, but our most favorite thing to do is read. We love books and we can't wait to start visiting the library soon with our Daddy. We still enjoying dance class every week and are still practicing for our May recital. Our teacher says we are getting better and better every week! We also love dressing up in our princess dresses and high heels as you can see...

Once again we hope you all had a great holiday!

smiles and giggles
