Well, we are officially BIG girls in our BIG girl beds and we think our Daddy and Mommy survived the transition... This whole process started Monday night when I (M) scaled down the side of my crib and scared both myself and my parents to bits. Everyone cried and after settling down Daddy and Mommy placed every pillow in the house around our cribs. (Have we mentioned they are the most embarrassing, most paranoid Daddy and Mommy ever??) In case you don't believe us here is proof...
Needless to say Daddy and Mommy were up most of the night trying to decide what to do next. After much denial that we were growing up they decided to buy us BIG GIRL BEDS. They went back and forth debating whether or not we were "ready" but in the end we sat them down and explained that we were in fact growing up and that this was never going to be easy given the fact that we are sisters and that we ARE going to play regardless of WHEN they decide we are "ready" to transition into our BIG GIRL BEDS. So after Daddy and Mommy got back from out of town this past week they bought us our very own beds and Friday night was our FIRST night in our BIG GIRL BEDS!! Given that our parents have entrusted us with such great responsibility we have decided to be on our best behavior and have actually done very well. AND If we keep doing good who knows what they'll let us do next week...
