Happy Daddy's Day!!

We had an amazing weekend celebrating OUR Daddy!! He is the MOST special person in our life...He comes home every day and waves to us from his black truck as we look out the window...He kisses our Mommy (gross) and then us as soon as he walks in the door...He plays with us after work as though he has been waiting ALL day to see us...He never gets tired...Sometimes we wait ALL afternoon for him to get home so we can go outside and play in our pool...Every night he leads us in a blessing at the dinner table...After dinner he helps Mommy give us a bath and then most nights we even have special Daddy/Daughter time so our Mommy can go take a bath...When it is time to go to bed he reads us a book and says our prayers...

Our Daddy is such an amazing Daddy because he loves God, he loves our Mommy and he loves US!! He always makes us feel so special even though he works really hard to provide a good home for us (and toys and clothes and shoes). We are so blessed that God gave us such a special Daddy. We love you Daddy!!

For Daddy's Day we went to church dressed in our "fish" outfits (see above) and later came home for a much needed nap. As soon as we got up ALL of our Grandparents came to see US!! Well, actually they came to celebrate our Daddy and all the other Daddy's, but mostly they came to see US!!! We had appetizers and then grilled out, but for desert we had a special suprise for our Daddy. We got him his favorite (well, his favorite for the moment) a CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE CAKE WITH ICE CREAM!!! It was HUGE and boy did it taste good!

Later we gave Daddy our special Daddy's Day sussies. We made him a frame with our Mommy (OUR picture in it of course) that we painted our hands on and a craft we made at BMO with a poem and our footprints. Our Mommy cried when we brought them home because it was our first craft that we made at school (MOMMIES...they are so embarassing). We also colored on the card we got our Daddy.

For our Papas we gave them a picture that we colored!! They thought it was pretty special since we are new to the whole coloring thing. I mean who has time to color when you can't resist the urge to eventually put the crayon in your mouth.
